One of the pillars of traditional postpartum care is warmth. The importance of warmth is essential for a thriving mother baby dyad, essential for healing and nourishment. Although this blend is crafted for new mothers in mind, postpartum means "after baby," so, therefore, all mothers are postpartum. Along with providing warmth, this blend supports the liver and replenishes the blood, and is anti-inflammatory in nature.

•Goji Berries are rich in iron and can help build back your level of hemoglobin after birth. This can help with unpleasant postpartum effects, such as dizziness and lethargy. On top of that, it is rich in vitamins C and A, selenium, and other antioxidants. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, goji berry treats Yin Deficiency as it is able to replenish Blood, Body Fluids, and Essence to some extent.
•Jujube Dates are used widely in Chinese medicine for thousands of years due to its high nutritional and antioxidant content, the jujube is high in vitamin C, phenolics, and flavonoids. Recent studies have reported this fruit to have strong anti-inflammatory, circulatory and gastrointestinal protective benefits.
•Ginger enhances digestion and warmth. It purifies and clears breast, lymph, and respiratory channels and Fluids. Ginger helps to reduce gas and bloating, it also supports the immune system and anti-inflammatory.
•Orange Peel is warming, high in vitamin C, and it also harmonizes the qi flow in the spleen and stomach, making it helpful with bloating.
•Rosehips are high in Vitamin C, which boosts the immune system, promotes wound healing, and enhances iron absorption in the body.
•Dandelion Root is supportive to the liver in processing excess postpartum hormones, helps relieve postpartum swelling, assist proper digestion, and aids in healthy bowel movements with it’s gentle laxative effect. Also rich in vitamin K, iron, potassium, and zinc.
•Red Raspberry Leaf is not only high in calcium, magnesium, and iron, but the astringent properties of raspberry leaf also help restore tone to the uterine and pelvic diaphragm muscles and may help curb excessive bleeding.
•Nettles is one of the finest nourishing tonics. It I'd reputed to have more chlorophyll than other herbs and contains vitamins A, C, D, and K, and the minerals calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, silica, and iron. It is a nourishing tonic for weakness, debility, and anemia. Nettles aid in kidney and bladder function and gently cleanses wastes. It is useful in nourishing breastmilk as well.
•Milky Oats contains Vitamin B complex which sustains our energy and soothes our nervous system. Great for convalescence, depression, debility, exhaustion, anxiety, insomnia, and is generally and excellent tonic for the overworked or overstressed.
•Reishi Mushroom helps to boost our immune system, helps to restore our body after depletion, modulates our bodies stress response, helps with anxiety and anger, and promotes vitality. This is my absolute favorite tonic and I personally take reishi daily.
